VTuber: Ceres Fauna
Credit: Hololive.
Ceres Fauna is a VTuber, or a digital avatar controlled by a human. VTubers resemble Skype filters. Fauna is a personification of Mother Nature (as evidenced by the flowers and twigs in her hair). By interacting with viewers on YouTube, she lets people "meet Mother Nature." Doing so influences viewers and encourages them to protect the environment, as viewers who enjoy Fauna's streams feel a sense of duty to protect the real Mother Nature. |
Oil painting: The Herd
Credit: Don Simon.
The Herd shows the intrusion of cities on animal habitats. As cities expand, humans and animals compete for land; humans almost always win. As a result, the animals have no place to go. This image draws attention to the issue.

Street art: Human Nature by Pejac
This picture shows humans connected to the roots of trees. Humans engaging in deforestation are actually cutting themselves down. This image shows the strong link between humans and trees; when we destroy trees, we hurt ourselves. Trees are an important part of the ecosystem: they produce oxygen for all of us to breathe and they provide food and shelter for many other animals. The art warns us and encourages us to stop deforestation to stop hurting ourselves.
Digital art: BNP Design Studio (image credit)
Through this art, we are reminded of industrialization because of the buildings drawn on the land parts of the Earth in which is actually destroying our source of life. The lands were actually used for agriculture and not for producing pollution, which the creation of architectures leads to. The tear drops next to its eyes also show how the creation of the buildings is causing it to suffer
